North Sea oil may be running out but there are still a few oil cans and signs around and here are some particularly nice collectors examples which we thought you would like. There are 3 small conical shaped cans, the best one being the Kayes walnut whip example. The large red conical shaped REDEX can from the mid 20th century has a space age look.  The two colourful cycle oil cans show great images and the orange Sutcliffe and tin/copper  Braime are VG long spout/press examples. Here are some of our latest and refurbished acquisitions, all the types of things we love.....and we hope you like them too. The unusual small Victorian kist/box with drawers below is called a mule chest and has a good look and great for storage. The pre war grain bushel is stamped 1935 and comes from the reign of George v and would make an unusual log box. Peat spades are popular for decoration and are becoming harder to find, this is a good example. The early/mid 20th century oak spinning wheel is a VG looking and functional example. Finally the...

We love the quality and design of these large collectable white metal (probably silver) agricultural medals awarded to D MUNRO of Winewell Farm for best sheep at Nairn Show. The quality of the engraving of the farm animals is just superb.........they dont make them like that anymore.
