1920-30s Watering can by W M Murdoch Tinsmith Elgin

This decorative tin watering can was made by W M Murdoch Tinsmiths Elgin who were the last tinsmith operating in north east Scotland in the early to mid 20th century.

This well made watering can unfortunately leaks and rather than have it repaired the owners decided to turn it into a bank and personalise it with the owners name.....see plate on neck of can which reads MRS CAMPBELL.

A super wee watering can measuring 8.5 inches tall overall and in excellent condition apart from the leak to the seam at the base which could be repaired.
