EARLY STANLEY BAILEY NO. 7 JOINTER PLANE FOR REFURB
This early 20th century STANLEY NO. 7 JOINTER PLANE is one of the largest models produced by STANLEY and this example is in reasonably good as found condition.
The plane has patents stamps on the bed for March 25th and Aug 19th 1902 and the lateral arm is stamped STANLEY PATD 24 7 88.
This plane retains its original rosewood low front knob which is VG and handle which is missing its spur.....shame as has a great grain/patina.
The other issue with the plane is that it has a chip out of the mouth, otherwise plane requires sympathetic cleaning to bring it back into acceptable condition.
The cutter is a replacement made by ACORN and overall length of plane is 22 inches.
Overall a good early jointer and well worth restoring as the many pics demonstrate.
