VINTAGE BEADWORK AFRICAN WALL HANGING
This striking African Art decorative wall hanging was made by the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria in the early-mid 20th century.
The design of this excellent crocodile shaped example is formed from thousands of coloured beads with cowrie shell border and and featuring an elephant and face design.
Fitted with a hanging loop this crocodile would make a most unusual wall decoration.
The toes in particular are very well formed of beads and shells.
The measurements of this super piece are 108cms long x 26 wide.
